Does Helix require a subscription?
No. Helix is a Bluetooth-based mobile app that connects directly to your vehicle when you’re within range. Once your Helix system is installed and configured, simply download the Helix Launch app, create your account, and pair your phone—no ongoing fees required.
Why use the Helix app instead of the included remote transmitter?
The included remote transmitter provides quick access and excellent range for everyday functions. The Helix app adds convenience by showing your vehicle’s status, including fuel level, battery strength, mileage, and tire pressure (features vary by vehicle).
Does Helix offer vehicle tracking?
Helix is Bluetooth-based and does not include cellular connectivity, so tracking is not available. We are exploring future Helix products with location-based features, and you can also add a compatible telematics system alongside Helix for enhanced control.
Is Helix all I need to use my mobile phone with my vehicle?
The Helix app requires the included Bluetooth antenna plus a compatible host system, such as the CMHCXG0 remote start and security system. Together, they provide complete convenience and advanced vehicle data.
Does the Helix system require professional installation?
